Whole Goat Care

Daddy is in the hospital tonight with chest pains. His brother Bill took him up there from the local ER here. Bill said Dad was doing fine but they want to admit him for observations tonight.
Please say a prayer for our dad. I have to wonder if stress might not be the culprit this time. It's his first Thanksgiving without Mom, her birthday is in five days and their 55th anniversary would be in two weeks. Grief can cause many physical problems so just say ask God to ease Dad's pain and fix his heart because I think it's broken.

Prayers for your dad Jamie, and your entire family. This is a hard thing to deal with, I know, but now is the time to remember she is having a bigger feast than we ever dreamed of and she will be there with you in spirit.

I know you're right. It just feels so foreign to all of us knowing that Mom isn't just a phone call away.
I talked to Dad just now and he sounds great. They are running tests on him and so far it doesn't look like he had a heart attack. They plan to do a stress test on him in the morning and then let him come home.
I guess we're having Thanksgiving supper instead of dinner.

jamie prayers for you & your dad. you could be so right about the stress. he might of had an angziate attack(sp) i have had them & they are just like a heart attack. just keep in mind that your mom is still with just not at the table. she is having a great dinner with eddie & my mom & dad. i know right now it is hard to be tahankful but keep up the faith & enjoy your day with your family

Thank you, Fritzie. I do miss Mom but I'm thankful for all the years I did have her. I think Dad's problem was anxiety too but he just doesn't realize it. Dad is one of those strong old men who handles everything quietly and on his own and I think it crept upon him while he wasn't paying attention.

You better hope Mom doesn't sit beside of Eddie because she will flat talk his ear off!!
