Say a wee prayer for a wee baby please....

Through prayer troubles are healed, through poems feelings are expressed, through grief we begin to see the joys, and when requested we can all share these times with you.

Tomorrow at 8am the doctor is going to induce labor on Savannah so hopefully I'll have a little niece this time tomorrow. I talked to Michael earlier and he's a nervous wreck, love his heart. He only gets to be a daddy for the first time this one time...lol! We're all so excited but it's sure been making me miss Mom because she'll never get to see her first granddaughter.
Say a prayer that Brylan Rayne will make it into this world easily and with God guiding her way.

Thanks Fritzie!
Michael is texting me with updates. They just broke Savannah's water to speed things up. I called Daddy and he's so excited and trying to be calm...lol! Needless to say, I think he'll be heading to the hospital soon. I don't get to go because I have to go to Dad's to let the carpenter in. :ooroll:

Jamie, as soon as that carpenter is in book it for the hospital!! After all, every little girl needs to see the one that is going to spoil the crap out of her before she sees the ones that are going to teach her responsibility!!

I didn't get to go but I'm going today!
Brylan was born at 5:15pm. She weighs 6lbs 13oz and is 18 inches long. I asked Michael what she looked like and he said, "a baby'. :ooroll: He finally told me that it looked like she had black hair just like Savannah.
Daddy got there just in time! He said he walked down the hall and could see Charlotte standing in a doorway. It was to the delivery room and she was listening to the birth. He said right as he got to the door they said, 'Two more big pushes!!' and then he heard Brylan scream bloody murder!!! You go little loud girl!!!
I can't wait to see her!

You're welcome Jamie, it's fun being an Aunt! Yep, see why I get excited every time I have a niece born, I have 4 of them now but this time around I think I'm going to be a proud Aunt to a nephew come February and Miss Archana gets to become a big sister to a brother.

Good for Archana!
Savannah has a four year old daughter, Raygan, from a previous marriage so she's a big sister too. I figured she would feel left out with all the attention the baby is getting so I bought her a t shirt that says, "I'm the big sister, Raygan" and I can't wait to give it to her. I hope it'll make her realize she's still special too even with Brylan here.

Thank you all!
"Aunt Jamie"...hehe... I like it!!
She's a perfect little thing and I know we'll get alot of joy from her. The bittersweet thing about her birth though was Mom not being here. She was so looking forward to her. :(
