Welcome to our little corner of the world. While most of us know and abide by the general considerations of others, this will serve as a simple reminder for what is expected on this board.
There are, and will be, children (defined as persons under the age of 18 ) as members of this board. While we do not want things sugar coated as to care and treatment of animals, we do ask that you watch the language and keep anything possibly offensive to a minimum.
The board does have a Word Censor on board. The admin has begun to build a word substitution in the database, so what you typed may be slightly altered to curtail the bad language. If you find that a word has been filtered incorrectly, please email me at kemarquis@chinyerefarms.com and I will investigate and correct if needed.
There is to be no board bashing of other boards, and we welcome cross posting from other boards. Likewise, we are aware and accept that we are not your only board. For that matter, we are not OUR only board!!! We would like it if you would share with the other members what other boards you frequent. We have created an area just for this;
http://goatcare.freeforums.org/post-you ... -t161.html
Forum admins will then verify the link and then copy it to our main listing of recommended boards.
Please remember our members, moderators and admin are passionate about goats and may come across strong at times. That while it may come across as a personal attack, it is a deep seated concern for the animals well being. Please communicate to the board if you feel uncomfortable, as this is the only way another member can know that they caused feelings of discomfort. We do not guarantee the final outcome, but we do guarantee an initial open line of communication.
If confrontation happens between you and another member, and it is not relevant or helpful to the subject at hand, please take the problems to Private Message or to Private Email.
Thank you for coming here. We realize we all have different ways and methods of treatment, training and care, but we hope to learn and share things that we can each integrate into our herds.
Enjoy, share, communicate, chat, laugh and fellowship with others - these are keys to a successful board.
